morning all anyone got a 749 workshop manual they want to sell or borrow so as to copy cheers :D

Do a search on manuals or workshop on this site. There was a recent post with a link to a Dutch site I think where you can get the full workshop manual in pdf format - but it's about 25Mb.
On dial up that'll take about an hour to download - but a lot cheaper than postage.

I have a friend who worked for a while in the Kit-kat factory - he doesn't eat them and neither will I.

:D My local shop sells mini Battenburgs with each end dipped in chocolate,my record is approx 2mins before i'd realised i had finished the packet (7)!But back to the point,you owe me a KitKat:lol:

No 749 manual there,I'm afraid.Just the parts catalogue.
I've got one for the 999 on cd.;)

KeefyB rightly pointed out the correct site link I was thinking of.

The 999 workshop manual is 24Mb - why? - probably because it includes loads of colour photos of the work taking place - kind of Haynes manual type.
The 749 - I haven't seen the workshop manual but the link (on that same site) which says Explosie tekening 749(8MB) is the engine exploded parts diagrams for the 749. Don't be put off by the Dutch(?) file name, the Ducati lists are given in four or five different languages on each page-including English.

The user manuals - still available on ducati.com - the entrance to ducati.com may be down but this link still works:
