most people ive spoken too have advised me to leave it alone as it is not really suited to the road

to just assess the condition though is as you say a very easy job

the best way to blow them there oil switches is to slightly over fill your oil
if that is why it went the first time and you change the switch without taking out a bit of oil you'll soon bugger up...
