| Hate to say it but a guy died up the road from me on Monday morning. I live just off the A1 and heard sirens Monday, nothing unusual in that, was going North 1/2 hour later so pulled onto A1, after about a mile the road was blocked with solid traffic, I did a u turn through a small turning and went round the back roads. It gave out on the trafficline system that the road had been closed. Read the local paper tonight, front page, a guy travelling on the A1 had a fatal with a car by a notorious turning from a village, car driver (a woman) is critically ill in hospital. There are several small villages off the A1 near me and the turnings to them just come straight onto the duel carriegeway with no filter lane at all-death traps. Since it was stated that the biker was on the A1 it seems most likely that the car pulled out infront of him.........what can you say, it has happened to all of us many times.
