Breaking 998 track bike

Hi All

So with the track day season coming to an end I thought I would strip down my 998 and give everything a good clean & check over, bearing & seals etc. Stripping it all down & taking lots of photos so I know where everything goes & routed, on removed the engine from the frame by myself, (Yes a know!!!) the F@#king engine slipped out of my hands!!, thought I got away with it until the next day when I went in to the garage and there was a pool of oil under the engine. One of the half crank cases has got a crack in it great!!!!

I started to try to repair it with some alloy resin when some 998 crank cases came available on Ebay. I bought them and stripped the engine down with the intension of replacing the cranked crack case and rebuilding it.
But with just starting a new job, I just don’t have the time & I also intend to start racing next year (looking into the DesmoDue series). So am going to sell the engine as it is, stripped down, with the spare crank cases.

On close inspection I can see no wear internally and the internal oil screen had no metal filings in it.

Am selling the rest of the parts on the bike which is now fully stripped down, all parts will we checked and cleaned before I sell them. I can provide photos of every part, or you’re more than welcome to pop around to have a look for yourself.

I can’t resize the photos to upload them on here so if you send me your email address I can send you photos of whichever parts you are interested in.

I also have a video of the bike running in all its glory which I can email you. The mileage on the engine is around 10k, it had 9.5k on it when I took it off the road and made it in a track day only bike, I've sold all the road going parts including the clocks. (Bike now has a Translogic dash fitted)

See list below for all the parts which am willing to sell in whichever combination, I would like to sell thing’s hole like the front end together, both wheels. Etc,
