Scottish region ride out today

A huge thank you to Scottch for organising today's "Haddock Batterer Blat" which took in some of the finest roads i have seen for a long time........

To say the pace was "Spirited" would be about right with everyone returning home safely which is what it is all about.

The weather was as kind as it could have been with only a few specks of rain for short periods, no fuzz to be seen anywhere and the finest fish and chips in Scotland made it a day well worth turning up for.

It was great to put some faces to the names. And i look forward to doing it all again sometime.

It was the first DSC rideout for me on the Dark and i was impressed with the crack and the general banter.

I know some of the lads took pics so will no doubt post them up soon.

Thanks again Scottch

Regards

ScottyB

It was also great to see so many Duc's out.

So, from me a big thanks should go to everyone who turned out and made it all worthwhile:-

So, here's looking forward to the next trip which should be in around 4 or 5 weeks when we take a trip to the Hislop exhibition in Hawick.

dcr,

No worries mate, the plan (so far) is to make the trip regardless of weather - as we fully expect the weather to be of the non-biking variety - probably by car.

This means we can take all the time we want in the exhibition, have a pub lunch (and a beer or two for those who won't be driving), and head home safe in the knowledge that the wipers can be switched on, heater turned up, big headlights to see ahead and not have to worry too much about the operating temp of our favourite super stickies.

It also makes sense since I hope to have a few of our good friends join us from Aberdeen, and that would be a long sore day in the saddle.

Stay in touch mate, and I'll let you know how things develop.

Cheers!

Scott

Scottch - take plenty of pics and write it up for Pronto.
Would be great to see the exhibit if only in pictures.
