Sorry to offend the ducati purists (hey at least they are V motors) but took the little NC30 over to my parents house today and took the liberty of getting a few snaps of the kids together. So wheeled the RC out and put them together. Its not often you see a RC30 these days out of captivity, and little NC30's in these colours are also getting a rare sight on the roads today too (well uncrashed un mollested ones anyway) So here they are back to back for any one who can appreciate a superb pair of honda's together in the timeless colour scheme's

Cant speak for the big one, but the nc30 is grin per pound as good as the duke!

Andy, the biggun is quite a bike compared to the 916 i have. It is much quicker, handles better, lighter, stops better and heats your arse better than the NC30. Very good bike but stupidly expensive and not worth 5 x NC30's

I had an NC30 when I took break from Ducatis for a few months - great fun. My brother owns two of them still but not in anywhere near as good condition as this one. A credit to you.

Cheers Moley, erm you think that ones nice ? well i have another identical one kept in the house after a full restore. Not moved in 3 years but here is a pic from when it was last outside before getting put in captivity.
So with 3 bikes in the same colour scheme and 2 of them NC30's you could say i am a bit biased but these V4's sound fantastic with a pipe, are dirt cheap to run and maintain and offer real good fun for little money. They are often dismissed as a "girls bike" and once you pile round the outside often the tune changes but to those who have had one i bet everyone looks back at them with fond and warm memories. Just need a RVF400 and RC45 for the full set, hopefully in the next couple of years the dream will be lived

I bought an NC30 after my early 900ss was stolen (as a stop-gap really, until I could find another ducati) and it was a real beaut. I loved it, and it went like stink, but one thing I wasn't really keen on was the sound it made! It always sounded sort of 'flat/dull' to me - from the rider's seat - despite it having a full race system fitted. Kind of took the edge off my wanting an RC.

I went on to buy a couple of CBR400's (Tri-arm & Gull-arm), and kept all three for a few years. Strangely, the older CBR (the Tri-arm) was the one I preferred.
