Squady bites the dust...

Hi all,

On the way to work this morning I saw an awsome crash the bend is at the end of a long straight and is decreasing radius. It has almost caught me out once or twice but never this bad. The guy was fine and in good sprits all things considered.

Reminded me of this post.

Looks as if he had a soft landing, glad to hear he's OK. There's a bend like that approching the a13 near Tilbury, comming from the docks.

A duel carridgeway, with a long sweeping left hander, which you can never seem to get right. At 1st it seems your not going fast enough, then as the bend gets tighter, your going too fast!

There has been many crashes involving lorries and cars comming from the docks, in some cases even deaths.

Trouble is there's a lovely long straight before it with no slip roads, so you can get some real speed up. 75 or even 80 mph!:P

"sorry officer I did'nt realise I was going that fast"
