Thing's I learnt at Snett...
All,

Snett was:

My 35th birthday.

My Dads second only race meeting, over from Aus for 6 weeks.

Qual - Ok as expected, round the outside at Coram in the wet is silly.

1st Race - Great start, avoid kangaroo Sheppard. First lap, last corner, run wide, try to power over the rumble strips, large mud filled puddle hole! OUCH!

Dad fixes bike. Thanks to Rattler, AK, Ali, Kart guy with welder, etc.

2nd Race - Great start, lapping well, Antony and Eric to busy scrapping to go quickly, Andy joins in the fun, swap, swap, swap, Eric slow around Coram, I try the outside 2 laps in a row, cant make it....try the inside next lap, Eric and I meet at the same apex!!!! Bang, stand bike up , bang, stand bike up, I see grass.......then wake up in ambulance????? What happened? Dad collects me from med centre, I was unconcious for 10 minutes??? Bit sore today.

Thanks to all who asked after me and came to see me after the race, I probably didn't show how much it helped.

Sorry to RED flag it for all.

Thanks to Eric for understanding my error. It messed his race up.

Can I have the win though?, I was in front the previous lap? LOL

Can I at least have the fastest lap? Please. Just noticed Andy was quicker in race 1....******r...

That's it for 2nd or 3rd for me in 583, ****ed about that!

Well done Dom and Phil, and everyone else.

Roll on Cadwell. Roll on 620.

There's one birthday you won't forget! Glad you walked away - never good to see someone laying in the grass.

Just eat more cake next time you want to celebrate your birthday mate !
I cant take that again ! It was just so good to see you walking out of the med centre looking a bit bewildered but otherwise ok.
Your dad has quite a story to take back tho

How do I get this rubber off my leathers, Micron and seat unit? I've been soiled.

I've got to say when you came past in the bloody ambulance after the race ended was the worst feeling for me. The thought that the guy that had made Cadwell such a top weekend for me could be badly hurt really shook me up.
Far more than the collision, leg riding or unbelievable speed on grass.
I looked back to see what had happened to you but I was up at the start line on the grass by then and couldn't see back that far.

As soon as I saw you in the garage looking as well as could be expected after what must have been a massive off. I started to feel like I had to get back out and ride all the emotions out. Still couldn't get any faster round that Coram though probably only doing 30 or 40 I recon

I think you will be one hell of a force on that 620 Cris, good luck with it.

So pleased we are typing this mate, now about this Cadwell I dive for the apex at charlies Two slowly, got it. Rattler on the other hand, go's real wide
