Smile ‘Legacy’ sportsbike choice
Dear all I would value some advice!
I’m looking to buy a non winged Ducati litre (plus) Sportsbike with some of my pension lump sum. Have narrowed field down to a big V twin, particularly the 1098R or a 1299, either Anniversario or FE. Could I have thoughts re riding position, feel, relative thrills and excitement? I’ve ridden everything from SF 848 to SP2 and big monsters in the past, but this one will be a keeper.
Thanks in anticipation

Panigale 1299 would be my choice. Amazing bike, plenty of power, looks amazing and so easy to ride. Last of the big V-Twins.

I would go for an S version to get the trick bits. Special editions can be a bit naff (says the guy with a V4SP! ) when it's just a paint job and a few trinkets, so check what you're really getting for the extra money.
