Hi again peeps,

I've woken out of hibernation and am starting to sort my DD bike.

Anyone know what kind of chain I should look for for if I ain't got no riveter tool thingy? Is there any other? Oh, and are they cheap?...lol It's for my 600ss.

Answers on a post card please :-))

I paid about £30 for mine last year (trackside) but it wasn't the best quality. You should be able to pick a decent branded one up for £45 with a bit of shopping around.

Angle grinder / dremel.

Tsubaki "Alpha X" X Ring Gold Chain in 520 size will be around £60 and is a brilliant chain. Had one on mine since the start of DD in 2005 and it's still perfect.

Does anyone know what the standard length of chain is for the SS? What size sprockets does that enable you to run?
