Factory Trip - Oh no!

Guess whose hire car broke down, meaning they missed their flight and had to buy new tickets on Ryanair as Hertz wouldn't accept responsibility?

What buggers. They definitely were announcing Hertz as their recommended car hire company. A snotty letter to Ryannair for a refund, pointing out that some 60 odd DSC passengers would be boycotting the airline if they don't respond appropriately (just as a threat, you understand!)

Hum, we can see why, hire the car from Hertz, break down, loose initial payment (to be split 50-50 with Hertz) sounds like they have a good thing going..... Chase it up point out the connection between the two and and ask for a refund from one or the other

Not good!

Ya would think Hertz would sort it out. Sure a letter to Hertz will sort it out.
