I'm on NTL and been running a TiVo for a couple of years (bought for peanuts from ebay and seriously upgraded ).

When Sky+ becomes as flexible as TiVo, or the Hi Def Sky+ box appears, I'll make the switch. Unless I can get a Hi Def TiVo of course

hey at least with Sky you'll get to watch BSB sponsored by Rizla Suzuki.......................John Reynolds this JR that Rizla Suzuki this Rizla that...................bloody hell it's great he's back but there are other riders not in his position who still merit a mention.

Huewen and Mackenzie though are they getting it large from the Suzuki camp? In my honest opinion, give it a rest

I looked into tivo a while back. I think the only things it offers over sky+ is the ability to rate programs so it will record stuff it thinks you will like. Not having tried this I can't really say whether I would rely on it.

I've heard that Telewest will bring out a pvr set-top box by the end of the year, but those plans might get shelved if they merge with NTL.

Once you have pvr, there's no going back!
