Removing chain -748s

What method are people using to get the chain off the above?

I have previously ground off the pins with a hand tool on other bikes but am thinking of buying a dremel?

Anyone used one to chop the pin end off?

I grind the pin ends off and then slide off the side plate.

I assume a dremel with the proper end tool on it will suffice?

Angle Grinder of course!

Just grind the punched heads off the rivet link and remove it. You can then purchase another rivet link (I usually buy two when I order from B&C Express...) and put it back on again should you want to.

Warning - use some kind of ear protection though! I was sorting out my trailer in the garage using the grinder and they didn't stop ringing for about 3 days afterwards!
