have you transferred the specific map across to the unit? the Quest only holds a limited number of maps before you have to start deleting ones you dont need. setings, map info, highlight the city navigator and see what is loaded.

When I wanted to transfer a new map to my unit I highlighted the area on the PC, it changes to the colour pink, then cilck on the send to device icon.

I purchased the standard motorcycle mount then made some brackets to sit across the 749 yoke. Quite neat. I also cut the power cable from the mount and terminated with a SuperSeal connector because most of the time a 20 hour battery life would mean on board charging would not be required. If you would like I could post some pics or give more detail,

yes please to the pics!! Not really intersted in having power on teh bike, just some decent way of holding on the yokes so I can see the directions etc....thought aboyt a ram mount, they do the basic holder for about £18 then you need to buy/get some way of mounting

Quest Mount

Hopefully find pictures attached. Basically I made 2 ally bars with a hole at each end, then I drilled and tapped to suit the 4 fixings of the bike mount, then stuck on some foam padding where it sits on the bikes yoke and this is held in place by 2 short bungees.
Hope this is of some help.
