Website idea...help / easy to do

Something occurred to me today about going on hols.

I remember reading about someone who lost their driving licence while on hols and had a nightmare getting a copy faxed to them....

well....how about creating pdf (or jpg) scan of your licence or possibly even passport and uploading them to a website somewhere?

The only thing I'd want to do would be to password them in some way - is this easy to do ?

Mail it to yourself , then just look up yer mail if needed !

Not for us

database storage, copyright, data protection, what if info was hacked?

Why not just scan, then upload to a photo site such as fotki and then password protect the album?

Although do not rely on theses sites being secure, - nor is hotmail so be careful with where you copy your license.
