Mood: Come on spring!!!
Ducati 748R CJS tuned 853 Track bike.

Iam considering selling my 2001 748R.

I have owned it for around 6 years, i bought it from a guy who used to race in SOT and some club races he had owned it from new. SInce i bought it, she underwent a full strip and restoration.

I rode it mainly at cadwell for a few seasons track daying, then decided to give it to Chris at CJS for some more power. It had previously been fettled by SIgma, undergoing their full monty tune which included balancing and bluprinting the bottom end. Then Chris gave it the big bore treatment and porting and gas flowing the cylinder heads. The result is one of the most powerfull 748R engines ever seen knocking out a true 133bhp at the wheel.

See link to Chris's site

The bike absolutley flys. Around cadwell its awesome. But unfortunately due to working away from home ive not ridden it for the best part of 2 years.
Hence it will require a thorough service with belts etc.
It was custom mapped with a PC3 and with the new remapping of the ECU that Chris now offers it will probably produce even more power.

This is the basic spec,
2001 748R with Ohlins front and rear. Rear shock was serviced 2 trackdays ago.
Fully bluprinted bottom end
94mm pistal pistons
Bluprinted and gas flowed heads, squish set all clearances set and cams dialed.
3 angle valve job.
Throttle bodies bored to remove restriction.
Custom mapped PC3
STM EVO slipper clutch.
Leo Vince exhausts.

Im sure theres more ive missed which i will add as i remember.
As i say the bike will need a full service, it needs a new battery. It does bare some battle scars from a few low sides i have had before i made the move to slicks and tyre warmers! Has some spare bodywork but the bodywork fitted is unmarked. May benefit from the new ECU remapping that can be done.

Also the bike can be registered on the road, the guy i bought it from lived on the IOM and i have the papers, tax disc, and reg number from the island but never got round to applying for the V5.
I have dyno prints showing the power claimed and CHris im sure will vouch for this. I have a receipt from Chris showing the work carried out and the price for this work was almost 2K.

Iam looking for around £4000.

Heres a few pics, note i can take more recent pics if required but will have to dig her out the garage, hopefully she can be fettled and put back on the track were she belongs and i will guarantee it will put a smile on your face as you pass modern 600s and some of the earlier 750's and 1000's coming out of charlies 2 onto park straight!!
