| FS: Ohlins FG2700 superbike forks For sale - a pair of brand new Ohlins FG2700 superbike forks with 108mm radial race caliper fitment. Ok, these are not strictly speaking Ducati forks - FG2700 were the last customer race team fork before Ohlins went to gas cartridge. The fork outers are 58mm at the lower yoke and 52mm at the top yoke, so with a 0.75mm sleeve you could fit them in a set of Ducati corse yokes which are usually 58/53.5mm. The stanchions are 43mm Titanium Nitride coated. The spindle hole inside diameter is 30mm on both fork bottoms so with a 2.5mm sleeve on one of bottoms you can fit a standard Ducati 916 type wheel spindle. These are incredible forks - the exact same ones as those that were fitted to John McGuinness' Yamaha R1 on which he smashed the outright lap record on the Isle of Man TT in 2004. They were also used on the Team Virgin Mobile R1's in British Superbikes in the same year. To the best of my knowledge these forks have never been used - there are a few very very minor marks from storage, and a little rub mark inside one of the spindle holes, but basically as new. They come in the original Ohlins box, with two alternative sets of springs (I don't know the rating for them) I'm asking £2800 plus postage. These were originally £5-6000 a set!
