i didint go for the ti one purely because my dealer said they were not really intended for road use; not strong enough.

At least I should notice a difference, after riding with the standard exhaust for 600 miles.

Having not heard the Termis, do they really make a difference, as I don,t want to be dissapointed.

You won't be dissapointed, picked my up last night and sounds the dogs, not allowed over 6k revs for first 600 miles so can't hear them at thier best but as I said before the demo bike at the dealer had them on so I now what it will be like
The running will be hard work the 749 is only just getting going at 6k so lots of gear changes to make decent progress (although 6k in top gear = 95mph so OK) and over taking is a pain. Never best get it done quick
Have fun with yours, getting it this weekend?
Oh I also had Ducati corse single seat unit (doesn't need rear sub frame change) which is very nice if your buying the bip.

Cheers,

Kip.

He was saying that they get a lot of bikes refered to him to sort out, with power comander.
My mind is set on Termis, but dealer won,t fit until after first service.

Oh yer Veloce (Norwich) said the same thing about Power Commander something to do with the rest of the systems on the bike.

Having followed the tart boys about Dorset, they sound awesome. As does Evertons.

And Termis are Termis, not arrows or remus.

Glad to hear, you got your bike and are pleased with it.

Sounds hard work to keep to 6k, although will be worth it.

Any Photo,s???

Spoke to my dealer today, and sounds like my bike won,t be ready until Tuesday next week, as I am having a few things done. Such as the wheels are being painted black, and I fancied the Mono seat. The guy who does the painting, I belive does the paint for the BSB teams, so he he is really busy at the moment.
just have to wait 4 more days.

Will let ya know when I get it.

Cheers

P.S Did you question the latest £800 discount on the 749.
I did, but all I got was the first service included!!

Peter,

I've a strange feeling I know you, and I'm sure I've met your wife...

Let me know how you get on with the Termis - I've considered getting them, but for £1000 I think they're overpriced. Ducati Manchester won't fit Termis until first service, and seem pretty insistent on that. The painting guy they use does the Renegade bikes. You just having the black wheels or something else? Sounds like you bought a Biposto? Is it a regular 749 or the 749S?

First service cost me £150, so you didn't get a massive saving. Would they not budge on the price then?

Dave

And by the way, Arrows don't make a system for the 749/999 as yet. The Renegade bikes certainly look like they're running factory Termis with Arrow stickers on them...
