Just downloaded the SP2 upgrade last night and I've gotta say I'm impressed so far....
size wise for humble slow broadband its a fair size - I think it said between 70 and 180 odd Mb, my XP Pro install worked out at 96Mb and best of all after the usual reboot my PC is running noticeably faster !

Thats the full version Alan. The version that Frank is using from the update site has a 'smart' installer which figures out which bits you do and don't need and only downloads those ... the 200MB version also allows you to do administrative deployments to ... umm, whatever ...
Installed it about 3 weeks ago and haven't really noticed anything different to be honest, except that damn security alerts in IE now which jump at just about anything on a webpage....
Incidentally, the security improvements they have added, IE settings as Antonye is finding out about, and changes to the personal firewall have stopped some application from working as they do normally.
Great from a security point of view but for the average user who isn't aware of which tcp or udp ports their app uses to communicate on it's a bit of a sh*tter - just be careful. When you install it make sure you choose the option to backup the files so you can roll it back if you need to!!!
