I take your points Jools, but to be fair I have read up on this, and would always seek professional advice first.

The medical text I read, said that it is very common to take paracetamol with ibuprofen. Ian just backed up what I had read.

Also, I would take the minimum dose, just to take the edge off any discomfort so that I can concentrate on racing and not nursing my arm. It's 75% there anyway, and anything that may make me drowsy will be backed up with cocaine or speed, so no worries there

It aint macho at all, I've raced with worse injuries and sooner after an accident... it's just in the way it is - 99.9% of racers do the same week in week out. I'm far from macho or a special case
