| Newbie gets his ride!! hey again everyone! ive just had such a great day on my dark that i picked up this mornin! Was really really nervous when i first got on it. Now after doing a coupla hundered miles i feel little better. 2 main things strived to dampen the experience today. 1 it stalled on me, as i pulled onto a round about and i was nearly stuffed from te rear! Oo er  this happened on two occasions.2 when pulling away, occasionaly the bike would let out a kind of yelp. Forgive my techincal ignorance, but it was the kind of noise you make if : Open your mouth as wide as it will go, then draw breath as if your attempting to make a noise and thats the kind of sound it made. Couldnt tell if it was the clutch or the suspension or engine? i really dont know. Any ideas? Has anyone made a succesful modifcation to the side stand to make it easier to get down whlilst still sat on the bike? Im a shorty so have ha to get off the bike then get the stand down, by no means ideal. Plus the stand looks a bit weak.? Overall though, what a bike! Sound, performance, handling, all seems of the top drawer. Look forward to hearing from you guys.   |
