yep - understand its the expertise but thats my point, when I stripped the forks, there is very little to change (in my limited view) on a set of std 94 monster forks. There are loads of guys who can offer advice on what to put in (oil wise etc) foc just by chatting/posting on here and then take it to them/specialist after to set things like preload or whatever adjustments are available.

What forks are permissable? I guess if they are comp/reb/pre adjustable with valve and doobry wotsits that it may be worth a specialist to rebuild...

I had my showa forks done, and my ohlins rear, fully rebuilt with uprated springs, valves etc for £300 so I guess that's a guide

....or maybe I am just showing my ignorance and reasons why I shouldnt get involved....
