The problem with the replacement link pipe is that it is rigidly bolted to the mount on the engine and there is a lot of stress on the small securing bolt.

The original Cat has resilient mounts so allows some vibration and movement damping.

On my link pipes the weld sheared on the mounting bracket. On yours the bolt sheared.

Its easy enough to remove if you also take off the silencers first (Two clamps and one mounting bolt). You may also have to undo the forward cylinder exhaust manifold bolts to get enough movement.

The biggest problem is getting the exhaust branch pipes to seal again. may be worth getting two (or more) exhaust seal rings before you start. I destroyed two in my initial efforts before I got it right!!
