Mood: I can live with backpain!
Being fleeced on OE parts! (non Ducati too)

I've just ordered a replacement brake line for my old mtx125 trail bike prior to my son driving it on the road next year when he reaches 17.

A single line cost me £76,I was speechless!!

A whole set of braided lines including clutch for my ss cost less than this, and this ones just rubber too.
The bike is 15 years old so doesn't feature in any of the big suppliers catalogues, and ,its got a screw in fitting at the top which prevented me from getting a local dealer from making a line up for me.
I feel it may have been cheaper to just replace the master cylinder and hose with a more modern one,but its done now.
Anyone else been stung by a simple part?
