From the evidence so far, I conclude that Ducati used to re spray red panels yellow (cheapskates) but not on the later bikes, well not on my yellow 998s panels anyway.
Or maybe they did it at the end of production runs (as quoted by a Ducati dealer to me), remember they were often cash strapped and used to cobble bikes together.
And Paul you are probably none the wiser. If you find out more from this saga let me know because I’m confused now |
