Don't leave your sat-nav holder in your windscreen, even if you take the main unit into the house. Chav scum broke my passenger window last night in the hope that I had left it in the glovebox.
I know it sounds obvious but I got lazy, thinking it would be fine as the car is right outside my house and I'm not so lazy as to leave the unit in the car.
Insurance covers the replacement window so it's only costing me the £50 excess but then there's the aggro of waiting to get it fixed.
This was compounded by the fact that I was using the car to pick up my wife and daughter from the hospital (she is fine though - false alarm) but was not something I really needed.
On the bright side though, the model portfolio of the stocks that I cover is up eur4m today so I'm a pretty happy bunny otherwise (although not as happy as if I was playing with real money). |
