The 748 might be more 'revvy' compared to the bigger capacity ducatis but it's all relative. It obviously isn't when compared to multi cylinder japanese bikes. To me it's just nice seamless power thats fantastic to roll on and provides great engine braking (not breaking!!!) when rolling off. I couldn't comment on the 9** range as I don't need any more than the 748 on the road. Why don't you test ride some used versions of the different models at a ducati dealer to see what suits and then buy one off here when one comes up?
