I'm picking up my year 2000 900SS this weekend It has high level 'Performance by Ducati' Remus cans fitted to it. I will also be getting the standard cans and footpegs with the bike. I will want to change them over occasionally so I can carry a passenger.

As it has the Remus cans already fitted, is it more than likely the ECU has been uprated as well? When I put the original cans back on is it likely to cause any running issues?
