| Slight misfire (when raining?) During a track day last week, it was raining in the morning sessions, and my bike developed a slight misfire towards the end of the second session. As I pulled into the pits it cut out (which it never does) and when I tried to restart it, it was as if it was only firing on one cyclinder. After several attempts it started again...and after a bit of a blast up and down the paddock...it seemed to cure itself. It dried out in the afternoon, and I had no other problems with it? I don't ride my bike that often in the wet, but when I have I've had no problems before. Are dukes in anyway vunerable to the wet/moisture intake if its ****in' down or there is s alot of water on the road/track...or could it be something more sinister? It reminded me of when I used to own a 1971 mini, I never went anywhere without a can of WD40...just in case it rained  Any ideas?  |
