To be fair, Stoner's right about the end of last season - check the results from Aragon onwards and he pretty much either won the race or crashed trying...

Worth remembering that Ducati only became champions by doing something different to the Japanese (going Bridgestone) - they are unlikely to beat Honda at their own game.

Sure it might take time to resolve but I would have thought working through and solving the problems with the carbon bike is the way forward - if they can make it work and develop an advantage with it, then that will be a huge jump on everyone else.
