Rear sprocket carrier

Went to put a OE 38th rear sprocket on my 748r the other day,got carrier off,no probs, but when i went to undo the cush drives, the torx bit was just going around, coz the cheesy metal they are made from rounded off,in fact, some of the torx wasn't even there as it had melted/corroded away.So has anyone got any ideas how to release the drives from the carrier so i can replace the sprocket?Realise i will probably need new cush drives as well so any ideas best place to get these from?
