Donington is a fast track, so you'll want to go for speed. I'm sure someone will give you tips on that but get your 15t front sprockets on and go middle of your rear sprockets!

There's always a rush for trackday spaces before a race weekend. A lot of people plan well in advance and get things booked as soon as they know the race calendar. I always made sure that I had done a trackday on the track well in advance of racing there to ensure that you had a no-pressure day to learn the track and cement it into my brain, and also the chance to fix any breakages should the bike decide to have a little lay down!

The only one I didn't do that with was Oulton due to the distance. We entered another class instead to get extra practise time on the day, and that actually worked out quite well.

I'd rather die peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather,
than screaming in terror like his passengers.- Jim Harkins
