Just check out with your company if they will pay out on both bikes if they are lost/damanged in the same incident such as theft or garage fire. I know people have had problems with this

Watch out on classic policies ...
.. I tried putting the 998 on my (Yamaha RD400) policy with Carole Nash only to find out because I had 'modified' it with Termis that they wouldn't cover it

Neil,

Mine are with Ducati Insurance (748s/750ss). I used to be with Motorcycle Direct, but as soon as I wanted to add the 748 the didn't want to know.

Cheers

Dave

Just got renewal thru` from Catrol nash ans it went up by £120 this year. Managed to get it reduced to £457 fully comp for the Jota and 998s with Carol Nash by dropping there valuation of the Duke from £13k ? to £12K.

I’m with Ducati Insurance for an M900 and 749S. Just had my renewal, £410 fully comp with a named rider - pretty good.

I'd be happy to use them again but they’ve forgotten that the 749S was written off in an accident about four months ago. Perhaps their computer system needs a little update!!!

Laxtons here....£396 comp for the 888 and S4R with points and a claim. Been with them for 3 years and consistently cheaper than anyone else and excellent service (they got a result on my 916 writeoff payout within 3 weeks !). Also small family run brokerage and they always remember you when you call. Also put my home insurance there too.

Update!

Join the Ducati Owners Club and get insured through Footman James, much cheaper than Carol Nash!
