Bored witless

I'm sitting here at work bored out of my tiny brain. Christmas is just around the corner and I've got 101 things I would rather be doing. Trying to look busy.
Anyone else in the same state?

I'm writing a technical paper on a software upgrade that my boss wants doing by the end of the year (as that's when the current version goes out of support) that we notified him about 18 months ago, and he wouldn't let us go to the technical seminars about earlier this year (admittedly is was in Portugal during the World Cup!) which would have given me all the information I need.

I think I'll have another coffee instead...

Trying hard to concentrate on writing a report to a customer about why his "job" has gone so far over budget. The hard bit is telling him nicely that him changing the spec every five minutes had something to do with it.......

I'm arranging two conferences with a few speakers on Special Educational needs for the new year.
I'm just waiting for people to ring me back and say "yes" so the dates can go out to the relevant people and I can book the lunches for the delegates....
Some people are so inconsiderate...I mean, spending time teaching kids instead of phoning me straigtht back
Right I'm off to lunch in a minute!:P

Just got back from starbucks with the wife after watching my 4 year olds school play this morning. Catching up on mail before I go out again and a bit of docco.

Ticking off the hours until my flight leaves

That place in Spain looks absoutely superb. Have a great Christmas and New Year, TP. You'd be hard pressed not to, I'd say.

Happy Christmas

For the first time ever all my projects are on time, to budget and right quality ... I'll need to just keep them ticking over until all hell breaks loose in January. Off to Bristol in a bit on the train to have dinner with my daughter then we're all off to Spain for the New Year straight after Xmas. Hope to get to the Sussex meet this Sunday before putting the 916 away for the winter.

It's been a great year - best wishes all

Spain looks like the In place to be for Christmas/New year.

I could do with some winter sun myself. "carry your bags sir"

Have a great time TP and Henners.

Still bored here at work.

Thought that only happened where I work!

Very boring.
Currently reeling from supplier comment of "We didn't intend you to apply the upgrade, just test it" Doh! Then why did you send us the upgrade with the comment of "this should speed up your full calcs" you b****rds
