Yeti, there is a company that insures race bikes and kit. They way it works is all your kiyt, tools, bike, etc. is covered as long as the engine is not running. So if you damage it unloading it from the van or your van catches fire, or it gets nicked, you're covered.
I use them and I think David Cook uses them as well. Very resonable rates.
