| I've read that before as well,regarding doin that mod,the ultimap fim chip is Australian and a piggyback chip,that goes on top of ure existing one,i had one on my 916 & did back to back dyno tests,it was 2/3 bhp down on a JHP one for the same bike !!!
couldn't really feel any differance,when riding,either,my personal feeling is they arn't worth the money !
Today,the real gains & benefits are with a power commander,which really do work,theres one on here for sale,& it's cheap !
thing is to try it,it won't blow up,only if the fuelings wayout !!however 20 bhp is a bit optomistic me thinks !!
