Dunno about your battery mate, but mines been on the optimate all the time it's been off the road. Came to move it the other day (uphill) and thought I'd pipe it up for a bit since I was going to have to start it to move it.

Nothing! Not even the datatool LED flashing. Checked that I hadn't done anything stupid like unplugging the optimate, no...that was still plugged in, but didn't have a single light on. The leccy drill worked when I plugged it into the same socket so it looks as if the optimate is dead

I suppose it could be something obvious like a fuse, but I haven't had chance to check it out for any more than a few minutes. I don't know if the battery will charge again when I get the optimate sorted (or get a new one - but it's only just over a year old), maybe the battery is so deeply discharged that it won't take a charge no more? Anyhow, our bikes are virtually the same age if yours is like mine and on it's original battery it may be getting past it at three and a half years old
