As in fact not being able to use the tyres I already have will mean I have to go and buy a set of tyres prior to the first meeting, which following insuring my van and car on top of buying and preping a 600 is going to be outside my budget. Currently I have tyres I can race on at Cadwell so they are not a added cost.

Surely you're in a position to claim to a supplier that you've got a good chance of winning! Maybe Rattler could sponsor you?!!
I'm in a similar position with a nearly new set of 208's on the bike, but don't have a problem with changing them if the gods say so.
