Mood: Blooo Duke gets red heads
Blooo Duke gets some r... erm, re........, oh ferg

r

e

d

parts, but dont say it too loud cos she'll get very upset.

The testarossa heads arrive a few days ago, and Ive not stopped droolin over them since.

So Nelly will be starting to fit new barrels bored out to 944, new hi comp pistons, extra oil lines, then the heads, superbly worked and gas flowed wiff blurdy big valves and all that good stuff.
Fit the new ECU, run it up on the dyno, a likkle tweak here and there, then its orft to jolly ole Jerez we go.

I s'pose I should ask Nelly to take a few piccies before the heads are fitted and get them posted here, then the "after the surgery" pics as well

YIPEEEEEEEEEEEE

bestest
mort in a highly blooo mood, with a slight twinge of r.. and guilt

I can't believe Mort's gone off blue ... still, red is the logical choice, well-played Mort!

Mort do you mean testastretta ie narrow head?

Or is testarossa a make of bits as it means red head?

Or are you fitting bits from a Ferrari?

I am confused o blue one.

No,it's deffo testarossa...... BIG valves, gas flowing, ST2 cams and a whole lot more.
They look very Gucci in the flesh.
Unlike Blooduke which when I saw her yesterday was more of a DirtyBrownGreyduke.
Get it cleaned Mort.... you were moaning that you were bored!

Mood: Bloo and Yellow.. and Red now ;)
I'll get some piccies Mort. I'll take some of the bike (frame and forks) on the lift, the rear end on the floor, the engine on stand, the heads on the bench, the suspension on the table, the fuel system in the store room............
I've been busy today

I just hope I can remember where it all goes

The heads are of the MBP Testarossa type. Massive valves on repositioned valve centres, gas flow, MBP collets, special seats, ST2 cams, shortened inlets etc.
Barrels are BCM 944cc race jobbies with Pistal pistons.
FIM bespoke ECU. 10k rpm limiter.
Should turn out 100bhp or so with torque just short of a 996

Of course it'll need road testing before the trip to Jerez
