International payments-HELP!!!
I have won something off e-bay that is in Germany,unfortunatley the seller does not have Paypal and my bank wants £25 to send it to his bank!!Other than sending Cash(it's only 25 euros),is there another option?

just wondered. I saw a guy who was based in Germany, who sells a lot of things on ebay. I nearly bought a cover around that price. Id of been stumped on the money front aswell then!

I've sent cash before,it's just that why does the whole of the European banking community only charge 10 Euros to send a transation to a foreign bank,but Uk banks all chrge upid money.I wondered if anybody new a bank that doesn't charge the Earth!!I will send cash,probably!

Nope, I got ripped for 20 odd quid when I transferred funds recently. Xmas is too busy for me to risk the cash route.

I usually send cash taped inside a folded piece of card. Have done it loads of times without any probs at all, but there's no guarantee.

The only other way is by Western Union, they charge around 6%.
