steve i'm gonna use a line of semi bond silicone. or contact adhesive something that wont etch into the paint!

i'll try it on an old air box first and let you know the results !

at worst maybe double sided tape

I'm interested Mav, I kind of need to know the price before Thursday afternoon because I might just get another airbox I have painted black.

Is that cool?

mmmhhh...how does that work then Andy...is it like having standard Ohlins forks (as fitted to a 999R), which at the end of the day are a cheap version of the R&T type...which are a cheap version of the BSB, which are a cheap version of WSB or GP spec equipment?

Is it like having track fairings covered in stickers for that WSB look, when its nothing more than a cheap copy?

No crime in trying to make your pride and joy look good...my SP has a full carbon box...but if it didn't, I would consider the covers, I think they look quite neat.
