| I've got a '98 Impreza sportwagon (non turbo). It is a great car, plenty of room and very reliable but it is quite heavy on petrol. I get about 30 mpg on a motorway run and maybe a bit less round town. Mines done 45k without a hiccup. Sevicing is expensive though, a normal service and cam belt cost me £400 - still not as expensve as a Ducati though  I'm selling mine because I'm in the army and going abroad for 6 months and I don't want it stood for all that time but to be honest I won't be buying another one when I get back, its too thirsty for what it is and would probably be selling it anyway. If you don't mind petrol and servicing costs then they are not a bad motor and very reliable, plus 4 wheel drive.  |
