Anyone know of a good source for the heat reflective material used to shield bodywork from exhaust pipes? I only need about an A4 size sheet. Was thinking maybe the stuff you get to put behind radiators. I know there are places like Demon-Tweeks that sell it, but they take the **** price-wise.
would this insulate under the seat aswell?? reason for asking, I may put my camera there but all there is between the zorsts and camera is c/f undertray. Doesnt get too hot but best to overdo rather than kill the cam.
don't think it would keep the back pocket cooler. which is what you are after. it works by deflecting the heat back of its shiny side. so if you stuck a load in the back shiny side up it may turn your camera into a baked potato

I use the ali self adhexive stuff you can get from almost any plumbers merchants for next to naff all. It will happily last a season and it's cheap enough to keep a few rolls in stock if it gets tatty.
Looked into this a little further an the plumbing stuff, at least the ones I found, are a bit supect when used in close proximity of header pipes. Apparently, the stuff to use is made by Design Engineering and available from Nimbus Motorsports only about 10 miles away. All for a fiver!
