| Is the bike lap record still held by an RC30? or am I years behind? Was it 7 minutes 40 something seconds? I know some road cars a few years ago were doing sub 8 minute laps? Skylines and Porshes etc. Was there a Caterham that beat them all? I know I have an old video somehere of Jackie stewart doing a lap in a F1 car sometime in the 1970s and it was unbelievable.
Theres a few of us driving down to Monaco for the grand prix in May and as I am in charge of sorting the route out I have thought about including the ring without telling anyone. The lads I am going with wont even know what country there in most of the time so it should be a nice surprise for them. Unfortunatly its looking more likely we will be going in the cars as my bike mates cannot make it this year and I dont really fancy chasing round on the bike with 2 nutters in 911s.
Every year I say I'm gonna do it and never do.
