So bling yet so far

Left work (which was being a right pig) early this afternoon to go home and clean the big beastie - still filthy from the AGM ride and, due for it's 6k service tomorrow, I had to do something.
Having cleaned everything except the wheels (I get bored doing the wheels), I thought I'd be naughty and put on my new Speedymoto pressure plate and clutch cover. Lovely stuff, that, and I felt nmy mood rising.
Two cap allen bolts came off fairly easily, then the third was having not a bar of it. Tried everything I know, and ended up rounding the damn bolt. I'm not equipped for any further doings, so I'll get CMW to sort it during the service in the morning.
Another frustrating incident in a very frustrating day.
Some days it isn't worth getting up.

Still, hopefully it will be better tomorrow!

Have you tried knocking head of allen key bolt with hammer the shock effect will usualy loosen the bolt in the thread. just don't be to heavy handed.

Not really - the head of the allen bolt is recessed into the clutch spring cap. No real way of getting at it. Shame though, I enjoy cutting a slot into seized bolts and using an impact driver to sort it - very therapeutic!
