btw the superiority of Ohlins suspension is easily apparent on the road.

Just based on personal taste and not on experience.
Like dickieducati said you'll notice even less the swingarm difference. (granted)
But.... i don't know... i really don't like the pre 05 999's swingarms and i prefer the new front look so i think i would go for a standard 05.

Nope, still haven't got one.
I was considering trading in my 04 R1 for a 998 but i just called my dealer (where i got the MV) and we're negociating a 05 999S .
Let's see how this goes.....
