The only problem I have is town riding it is a bit lumpy at low revs probably because of the termies .

Try buying a 998s.or an r. I cant understand why you would buy a std 998 and then upgrade the engine which is to the s spec??

Surely the costs involved would warrant buying the next model up and some??

Andy - I realise that now. Engine upgrade didn't bring it up to S price.

Hindsight's a great thing though isn't it.

yeah have to say allthough i have a 10 year old 916 its still faster than any of the new stuff thats being churned out .and yes the 916 started it all off ,anything after that is a reproduction fake in my eyes
