ohlins overhaul

just in the process of restoring my pride and joy and decided to take the shocker off to get it overhauled and a new spring .but the bolt holding shock to swingarm was well and truly seized so in the end had to drill it out ,was an absolute swine of a job.ordered a ti bolt and nut off tecmoto along with ti caliper bolts but this was 3 weeks ago , not a happy bunny ,hes promised me they will be with me in a couple of days fingers crossed
now the shocker i bought a second hand one off p guenet a dsc member and well chuffed with it looks like new ,but ive now got an ohlins shock i need to get looking like new again. wheres the best place to send it and how much am i looking to spend on getting it sorted ?
cheers

Harris performance in Heretford are Ohlins specialists. 01992 532501, ask for Steve Harris.

www.stevejordanmotorctcles.co.uk 01372 453322 and speak to Sarah Jordan. They have just rebuilt my ohlins rear shock and supplied and fitted a new spring. Steve Jordan is a fully trained Ohlins techie and looks after a lot of the BEMSEE race guys ... tell Sarah that Dibble sent you .....

Adam ... Harris ??? are you rich ?????

Dibble, i bought back this 996R and told my wife I will not go through the same bling thing as I had done with it before, well, no sooner had i got the bike home, I was straight on the net buying goodies for it. My one big and hopefully last luxury will be to change wheels.

I am very far from being rich, but I do like to treat myself now and again.
I did buy my Brembo brake and clutch master cylinders from Harris, they were cheaper than any others I had seen, both billet. also my sprockets and chain.

Hate to think what one of their fancy swing arms would cost.

Ktech, from what i've heard they are very very good but unless you have an existing relationship with them then you are often at the back of the queue ....

HM Racing are also worth a shout, www.hmracing.co.uk

Perry Leask is the guy you want down there, an ex MotoX champion and Ohlins expert, had my forks set up there (showas) ... he's also done set-ups for a couple of other DSC boys ...

K-TECH! Tel: 01530 810625

Nearly the entire BSB field uses them and with good reason. Turn around time is also usually pretty fast.

Echo above-K-Tech, they are re-building the TZ forks currently. They are very busy at this time of year but if you call them they will give you a date and will stick to it-they did with me anyway and I had never dealt with them before.
