| Jay came 2nd in first race on sunday and broke lap record. Beaten by Michael Pensavalle who is BSB(??). Then in second race of the day Jay had a crap start and was down to 9th at one point but battled up to 5th and catching 4th when front went into Graham Hill. Strange seeing it as he was going to right and front went left. Same place his team mate went off in race 1 (Steve Iles).
Under new rules it appears his position and points depend on his overall position over 2 races. ie. 20 points would put him about 6th overall for day so he gets 6th place points which would be 12(??) or maybe x2? |
