Sorry to start all this...
It was my initial paranoia that I have been sold an import (yes....I know they are all imports - from Italy) or a machine that had had the clocks changed including the odometer, therefore the milage would be 'slightly' out.
Paranoia over...thanks for your comforting words of wisdom
(would still prefer it in celsius tho'...I'm a scientist, so prefer SI units)
